Afghan Headspin was born late 2006, Wrisk & Mackie from Resonant Evil (Renegade Hardware, Moving Shadow) forged a new identity to take forward their musical visions. Making an immeadiate impact upon the breaks scene releasing "The Calling" on seminal record label BROKE, they have gone on to secure spots on many of the industries most respected labels, Westway, APE, Bombtraxx, Bassrock, Mechanoise, Downbeat and, Polar Red as well as start their own labels Standard Audio & Valium, and they released their debut album "The Blimey Ladder" early 2008 with exclusive tracks Skets, Darkside & Dead Rising laying the foundations for their original forward thinking style.
Their tuff style of tearout beats, along with their love of the weird and wonderful has gained them support from some of the scene's biggest players, Jay Cunning & Annie Nightingale, regularly aired on Kiss 100 & Radio 1. They are continually booked to DJ all over the world, and have become one of the most recognised breaks artists in Spain, the Worldwide mecca for breaks parties.
The future see's no let up with work on a new album and also original and remix work for many top labels. One of the hardest working crews in the dance music industry, expect Afghan Headspin to be at the top of the game for many a year to come!
